The Greater Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo has taken a tour around the Korle Klottey Municipality to familiarize herself and also ascertain the challenges and outline plans to improve the municipality and the region.
According to her, one of the focuses is to promote waste segregation and strengthening the sanitation departments of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies to improve efficiency. “There is the need for teamwork and dedication to achieve a cleaner and a healthier Greater Accra”, she added.
The Hon. Minister, Hon. Linda Ocloo assured that she would liaise with the office of the President and also meet all Coordinating Directors to discuss ways to improve the issues raised especially on sanitation. “In order to achieve this, all stakeholders must come onboard” she stated.
