The Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly shares a vision of building a fair and resilient city, and recognizes the importance of addressing climate change, sustainable development, and enhancing the well-being of its inhabitants.
Whereas the Centre for Green Growth is committed to adapting and building resilience against the effects of climate change in Africa, empowering communities, governments, and the private sector to address climate change challenges through innovative local-level projects, policies, and collaboration.
In promoting climate resilience and sustainable development in the Korle Klottey Municipality, both institutions have entered into an agreement because of the common goals and interests they share.
The purpose of this partnership is to collaborate on initiatives and projects that enhance climate resilience and promote climate adaptation in the Korle Klottey Municipal Area.
The collaboration includes, but not limited to: Stakeholder Engagement and Community Outreach, Project Planning and Implementation, Policy Advocacy, Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration on Green Events and Competitions, among others.
