Hon. Nii Adjei Tawiah Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly Outdoors DRIP Equipment

Ghana is embarking on a historic journey to transform its road infrastructure management and improvement with the official launch of the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP-2024).

This initiative by the Government of Ghana is set to empower Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) with the tools and resources needed to enhance road networks across the country.

In view of this, the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly has out doored the equipment for the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) with a short ceremony held at the forecourt of the Kwame Nkrumah Water Park on Friday, 15th November 2024.

The equipment included One Motor Grader, One Back Hole, One Roller, One Water Tanker, Two Tipper Trucks and Three Concrete Mixers.

Hon. Nii Adjei Tawiah, the Municipal Chief Executive for Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly in his remarks, thanked the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the good initiative.

The MCE said the DRIP project will go a long way to improve the quality of roads and connectivity which will facilitate a better access to essential services, markets, and economic opportunities for the Korle Klottey Municipality.

He stated that projects especially roads will be completed efficiently and to standard because of these vital equipment and resources received from government.
