Assembly Members of the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA) have retained Hon. Francis Ebo Quansah as the Presiding Member of the assembly for a second time.

A total number of seventeen Assembly members present out of nineteen assembly members at the meeting voted Yes to confirm his re-election.

Speaking after the election, Hon. Mensah expressed his gratitude to the Assembly members for the trust and confidence they reposed in him by endorsing his candidature to preside over them for   the second time.

He promised to run an all-inclusive leadership and bring all stakeholders together to execute the development agenda of the Assembly.  

He urged his fellow Assembly Members to continue being a united front to accelerate the good work the Municipal Assembly is currently doing and called for more collaborative efforts between the Assembly members and the management of the KoKMA.

He said, “we are working with unity of purpose and determination to make sure that Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly will be one of the best assemblies in the country”.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Samuel Nii Adjei Tawiah commended the Assembly members for the peaceful and orderly manner within which the elections took place.

He also reiterated the need for unity and collaboration between management and assembly members whiles working together to bring about much the needed development to the municipality.
