Honourable Nii Adjei Tawiah Municipal Chief Executive for Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA) has call on His Excellence Mr. Jeroen Verheul, The Netherlands Ambassador to Ghana for a partnership to improve Accra's urban development.
The visit was aimed at wooing the support of the Netherlands Embassy to foster a sister -city relationship and link the Municipality to sister cities in the Netherlands since Assembly's jurisdiction falls within the Central Business District of Ghana's capital.
Again, Municipality hosts major governmental institutions and international or multinational organisations making the Municipality a unique one for promoting development in the city of Accra, and thus the need to improve development Sister- city relations
KoKMA among other things, will be link with some state institutions in The Netherlands for collaboration in flood control, tax collection and to build the capacity of spatial planners since the Municipality operates within the commercial enclave of Ghana. 
Other areas of focus would be to provide technical support in climate change, gender empowerment, capacity building of KoKMA staff for institutional development and to provide technical knowledge for town and country planning.
His Excellence Mr Jeroen Verheul indicated that The Netherlands was still supporting developing countries through Nuffic for educational opportunities, and called on the public - including staff of the KoKMA to take advantage of it. 
His Excellence Mr Verheul expressed the hope that the relationship would be strengthened to further promote development in Accra.
