Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (KoKMA) has organized a stakeholder meeting with the aim of sensitizing the citizens on the redevelopment plan of the Municipality. 

Municipal Chief Executive (M.C.E) for KoKMA Hon. Nii Adjei Tawiah said, the plans of the Assembly towards the redevelopment will bring change within Osu, Adabraka, Asylum down, North Ridge and etc.

Madam Patience Osei Nyarko Head of Department for Physical Planning said, the redevelopment will seek to solve the challenges within the electoral area on improper waste disposal, choked gutters, flooding, traffic congestion and etc

In the presentation, Mr. Richard Geier, a team leader for COWI Consult highlighted on the proposed facelift for the Municipality. He then pointed out specific places which need a facelift such as constructing of a storey building which will create conducive environment for business activities and create space on the land, constructing a proper drainage system, recreational centers and a proper road network which will benefit the citizens within the municipality.

Participant expressed their satisfaction towards the presentation of the proposed facelift plan. Some of the attendees said they expect the proposed redevelopment plan of the municipality to be implemented as soon as possible.
