The refurbished multi-million Cedi educational Complex facility which houses the Teacher MOTA Schools at Osu has officially been handed over to the Klottey Korle Municipal Assembly (KoKMA).
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Nii Adjei Tawiah, on receiving the keys, later, led a team of Assembly members and technical officials of the Assembly on an inspection tour of the facility to assess and evaluate the suitability of usage of the project which was completed four years ago.
The facility consists of Two Basic schools (KG, primary, JHS,) and library, ICT centre and laboratory as well as spacious staff common room.
The MCE expressed his satisfaction and gratification for work done by the contractor even though the facility had not been used for the past four years.
"Yes, even though I have expressed my satisfaction of the facility, there is still some 'minor works' to be done before the school pupils and teachers can fully utilize it " says Nii Adjei Tawiah.
On her part, Municipal Education Director, Madam Joyce Osae-Appenteng thanked the Municipal Assembly for all the efforts in making sure that education facility has been secured to improve educational and learning activities within the Municipality.
The Assemblyman for Osu Doku South Hon. Carl Nii Teiko Tagoe also express his appreciation for the reopening of the school since it will enhance education activities within the electoral area.
